At Small Steps Preschool, our preschool program supports children ages 3 to 5 years in a safe, engaging, and academically rich environment. We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks and children have the unique opportunity to prepare their own lunch, fostering independence and life skills.

Outdoor Adventures & Enrichment
Preschoolers will engage with the Fun Shine Express Curriculum - Firefly Program, blending academic learning with active exploration and outdoor engagement. Through movement-based learning and nature discovery, children develop problem-solving, independence, and curiosity.

Preschool Daily Schedule
- Morning: Arrival, breakfast, and whole group morning meeting (greetings, calendar, weather)
- Mid Morning: Small group literacy (letter sounds, writing practice), math (counting, patterns), and outdoor learning/play
- Lunch: Healthy meal followed by nap/rest time
- Afternoon: Whole group music and movement (dancing, rhythm games), small group science, and sensory play (hands-on discovery)
- Late Afternoon: Snack, small group art (painting, creative projects), whole group reflection, and closing circle (sharing experiences, preparing for pickup)
